She is well-known, respected and liked. Her duties range from marriages & swearing in officials to civil claims up to $12,000,criminal arraignments and hearings, traffic offenses and other minor infractions and disputes. The DJ is often the first and only judge people see. Judge Zaffarano faces no opponent in November. Her name appears on both D and R ballots.
